We are currently in the process of applying for temporary residence via the Mexican consulate in San Francisco....now let me tell you, when you don't speak the language this can be a very confusing experience. But we now all have necessary paperwork together and hope for more success when we go again this Friday. We hope to stay in Mexico for a year, perhaps longer. Learn the language, explore all the beautiful beaches, emerse ourselves in the culture...then we'll start arguing about where to next :)
With our departure so soon, and the "cat out of the bag" we will both make an effort to keep everyone updated.
Not that I ever really thought much about what we would be doing in life as we were kids and best friends. ThIs by far was not on my list of thoughts anyone of us would ever do. At that time of our life this was something only seen in movies. Dominga I wish you all the best and congrats on living life to the fullest. I will always wish you good weather and great fun.
