Kidnapped by a "pirate" and his dog

Saturday afternoon was beautiful. Calm winds, blue skies, all was calm....until we heard the roar of an outboard engine heading for our boat. We were expecting a friend to stop by, but were surprised when the dogs started barking loudly. Looking over the side of the boat, we saw a man with a bandana covering half his face, and oddly enough, a dog wearing a bandana that also covered it's face. I suspect the dog was the leader in this act of piracy. We and our four legged crew were ordered into the boat by a finger pointed at us like a gun. Scarves were thrown at us once we climbed aboard the dinghy. We were commanded to cover our eyes, or else our dogs were going overboard. We obeyed. I explained to our captor that our families would not pay any ransom. He paid no attention to us. He landed us on the beach and ordered us to remove the blind folds. We did...and we were treated to a marvelous afternoon on the beach where the dogs played and we drank delicious margaritas with our captor. Thank you Dave! It was a truly unique experience and we're glad we played along :) It was great to celebrate Diane coming home!!!! Now, Diane get your a?? home!!!!
